Are "We" Becoming Less Civil?

That was the question Don Lemon asked on CNN this morning.

No, I don't believe "we" are.

Many Republican Tea Party folks are behaving in a non civil manner.

Kanye, who many folks had never heard of prior to his snatching the microphone from a bewildered Taylor Sift during the MTV awards show, behaved in an uncivilized way, as well.

Serena Williams, two point away from defeat in last nights U.S. Open Women's Semi-final match when she shook her racket at the diminutive lines person and threatened to shove a tennis ball down her [expletive deleted] throat, was indeed uncivil.

President Obama is behaving quite civilly, in spite of rudeness and provocation.

Taylor Swift (and her mother) are the poster people for civility, and MOST tennis players are models of courtesy.

So, no, Don, if I may say, "we" are not becoming less civil.

Some of us, however, are just not civil to begin with.
